Registration Requirements

The rules for establishing Conditional Registration and for the operation of Conditionally Registered Street Rods are explained fully in this document;

Fees

The NSW SRC charges fees on a cost-recovery basis, for services associated with Conditional Registration:

• Street Rod Build Application – $40
• NSW SRC Registration & Construction Guidelines for Street Rods in NSW (Hard Copy) – $25
• Conditional Registration Permit Travel Card (per annum) – $50
• Yearly Inspection Fee (per annum) – $50
• Conditional Registration with SRC Certification*
  – Includes two inspections (Initial & Final)
  – Written certification – $1200
• Other Conditional Registration Inspections*
  Examples
  – Vehicle transfer from Modified Production or ICV with Engineers Report – $340 – or a  Vehicle requiring additional inspections (p/hr per person) – $100
• Follow-up inspections – $50
• Initial Registration Cost

  – Registration Plates – $340
• * Excludes Travel expenses which may be applicable
